• An online time capsule made up of content generated by young people around the Commonwealth and covering each day of the last 60 years.
• An engaging project to involve schools in history and culture, to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2012, the year in which she will also be celebrating 60 years of headship of the Commonwealth.
• Any young person (e.g. under 25) in the Commonwealth will be able to log on and register their interest, either as individuals or through their schools/universities. Once registered, they will be assigned one of the 21,915 days that make up 60 years to research.
• By talking to family members, visiting libraries, using the internet etc., we hope they will be able to write a story, take a picture, make a video etc. reflecting on what happened their country on or around that day.
