Opposition To Observe “Aakrosh Diwas” On November 28


Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Anand Sharma, today stated that November 28th will be observed as “Aakrosh Diwas” to register the protest against the government’s move to demonetise ₹500 and ₹1000 notes.

Fourteen Opposition parties, who today were part of the protests outside Parliament, are going to participate in the protest on November 28. Sources have told TIMES NOW that each party will design their own protest pan India to corner the government on the issue of demonetisation.

This move by the Opposition comes even as it has kept up protests against demonetisation, stating that the decision has caused great inconvenience to the common man. The Opposition has demanded a roll back of the decision if the government cannot ensure a better implementation of the move. Full Story
