LUCKNOW: Finally, the country's longest expressway from Agra to Lucknow will open to public from December 23. Speaking to TOI, chief executive officer of the UPIEDA Navneet Sehgal said chief secretary Rahul Bhatnagar held a meeting with top officers including principal secretary home Devashish Panda and directed them to make all necessary arrangements for opening the Agra-Lucknow expressway to the public. Sehgal said the chief secretary has asked police department to provide a police patrol car every 30km and ambulances at the same distance too. The chief secretary was reviewing the progress in the prestigious project of the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, who had inaugurated it on November 21 in the presence of his father and party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
