Secretary-General to address Human Rights Council

Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland will make her maiden speech at the High Level Segment (HLS) of the 34th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva on 28 February at 17:40 (local time).

Secretary-General Scotland will take the opportunity to underscore the Commonwealth’s commitment to human rights, including its work with National Human Rights Institutions and parliamentarians.
