The Aussie Dollar over the Next 24hr and the Impact of the Australian Central Bank Policy Meeting

Central banks have a lot of influence in the foreign exchange markets.

On Tuesday morning at 03.30 GMT, for example, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) will ends it March meeting an announce its policy decision, and this event could be a major impacting factor on the Aussie Dollar over the next 24 hours.

Whilst we don’t think there will be a huge amount of volatility after this particular meeting, it’s worth getting some background info and understanding the context for the event so that we are prepared for any sharp moves.
