Cyclonic Storm Mora threatens to flood parts of Bangladesh, northeastern India with up to 300 mm of


Cyclonic Storm Mora will continue to batter parts of Bangladesh, northeast India and northwest Myanmar into Wednesday.

Landfall occurred south of Chittagong, Bangladesh, near Kutubdia Island, on Tuesday morning local time, according to the India Meteorological Department.

The cyclone will continue to weaken over the next 24 hours as it tracks northeast into northeast India. Flooding rain and mudslides will be the biggest threats along with locally damaging wind gusts. Full Story
