As part of the 150th Anniversary of Canada, we invite you to honour our men and women who have served our country on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the National War Memorial Site of the Unnamed Solder for the 11:00 a.m. ceremony.
For those who cannot stand for the entire ceremony, RCS Ottawa has arranged with the Naval Officers’ Mess (HMCS Bytown) to view the ceremony on the large screen in the Crow’s Nest room. We have been doing this during the past few years and we thank the Officers’ Mess for their kind invitation again this year. RCS Members are invited for a lunch after the ceremony at the Naval Officers’ Mess, gratis for RCS Members.
Just a reminder to those who may not have been to the Naval Officers’ Mess recently, it is only three blocks from the National War Memorial Site of the Unnamed Solder at 78 Lisgar Street.
The Naval Mess will be open at 10:00 a.m. so that we will be able to view the ceremonies on the 12 foot screen. See your there.
The very best
