Global Affairs Canada & Justice Canada Speakers Event


Dear India Canada Friendship Circle (ICFC) Friends,
We invite you to join us for our next event at 19:00 EDT (Ottawa) on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 on Zoom.

We thank all those who attended our May 2nd lectures on the governance of diverse communities in India and on understanding Canadian identity. As discussed on May 2nd, for anyone wanting to donate to Covid relief efforts in India, they may find a charity of their choice in the following link:

Our second lecture will be given by two experienced senior public servants.
Mala Khanna (Global Affairs Canada) will speak on her personal experiences of diversity in multicultural Canada.
Richard Sharpe (Justice Canada) will speak on whether systemic racism exists in Canadian society by viewing diversity and inclusion through the public service lens.
