Bank of England Governor Mark Carney may be thinking his job is becoming a poisoned chalice as the Bank of England gets set to announce its latest rates decision.
The Bank will also issue the monetary policy committee meeting minutes today, which is what people will be focus on as it is fairly certain rates will be held steady at 0.25 percent.
Last night, the United States Federal Reserve confirmed it was delaying its next rise no longer, and raised the base rate by 0.25 per cent to a range of 0.75 - 1 per cent.
